About Us

Vibrant Vitality is a health education blog that explains common medical conditions in clear, plain language. Our goal is to help readers in Nigeria and beyond understand their health, recognise warning signs early, and know when to seek care.

About the author

Joy Enowoh Aderinwale, Registered NurseJoy Enowoh Aderinwale, RN is a registered nurse licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She trained at the Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences, Abeokuta (2022–2025), passed the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria qualifying examination in November 2025, and is now studying for a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) through the Distance Learning Centre of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She volunteers with the Anglican Diocese of Abuja (Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion), where she gives health talks, provides first aid at diocesan events and visits the sick.

Before nursing, Joy trained as a teacher (Postgraduate Diploma in Education, National Teachers Institute). What we cover

How we write

  • Every article is based on trusted sources, such as the World Health Organization, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, the UK National Health Service and the US National Institutes of Health. Sources are listed at the end of each article.
  • We explain what a condition is, its symptoms, how it is diagnosed and treated, how to prevent it, and when to see a doctor.
  • We review articles regularly and show the date each one was last updated.
  • Read our full Editorial Policy to learn more.

What we are not

Vibrant Vitality is an information blog, not a clinic or hospital. We do not offer consultations, diagnosis or treatment, and we cannot give personal medical advice. Our articles are not a substitute for care from a doctor, nurse or pharmacist who knows your situation. If you think you may have a medical emergency, go to the nearest hospital immediately.

Advertising

Vibrant Vitality may display advertising to help cover the costs of running the site. Advertisers have no influence over what we write, and we do not endorse products shown in adverts.
